Artist Statement
Olivia is an emerging glass and ceramic artist.She focuses on the fluid nature of materials and the application of their properties/phenomena.She carefully designs aleatory (chance-based) experiments to gather data and design systems where components react upon the introduction of a catalyst.This produces physical artifacts of reactions.
Biography
Olivia holds a BFA in 3D Fine Art/Glass from MassArt.She was a fellow at Pilchuck Glass School and published in Corning’s New Glass Review 42.She has shown work at Lowell City Hall, Boston City Hall, Harvard University, the Glass Art Society Conference 2023 & 2024, MassArt’s Alumni Biennial, The MassArt Auction 2023 & 2025 and Abigail Ogilvy Gallery.She is a grant recipient of Boston Art Dealers Association and Mass Cultural Council.
